Evaluate yourself

This week is rather hectic! 3 meetings, and performance appraisal submission. What more with a fever!
Since the due date is this weekend I had to keep everybody on their toes and demand submission, well I’ve demanded since early May after the retreat, but then again we are only human…
memang stress nak bagi evaluation on performance. But one good thing about evaluation this year is that the staff is able to give a rating on themselves, which is an eye opener….we sometimes fail to see where we stand on a scale of 1-10.
The performance evaluation still needs to be reviewed.
Ada lagi bahagian yang perlu diseragam dan perbaiki terutamanya cara menilai prestasi, sama ada dari segi kualiti, kuantiti atau tempoh masa diselesaikan.
Bahagian komen dari supervisor juga kadang2 pening nak diisikan, kena bagi komen yang bukan berdasarkan emosi tetapi prestasi walaupun komen tu tak berapa positif.
So I learn to write it sincerely from my heart, and I feel better that way. I put emotions aside and think of words that could interpret what I wanted from my staff. We could never go wrong this way, that’s what I think.
Rasanya aku pun kena pergi kursus yang sesuai untuk meluahkan kata2 ni…Ada buat kat luar ni..tapi ribu-riban la….
Harapnya utk tahun depan aku boleh buat yg lebih baik utk performance evaluation for myself and the office..
